** English version and english video below **

Hello ! As most of our events are postponed (CoVid reason), I decided to prepare the events that are still possible **we hope it* : the 2 garden-parties 1912 of the year 2020 (the first is on july the 12th at the château of Champs-sur-Marne, the other one is on september the 5th in Normandie). I hope it will allow the people of my group to work on their “costumes projects”, and, most of all : keep them home to “flatten the curve” of ill people. Here is the video (please, forgive me, I had no time to subtitle it, so I hope it’s understandable for you, despite my strong accent) :

  1. Thank you for a very interesting article with wonderful photos. I had no difficulty understanding you in English. (your English is much better than my French!) The information was well presented and easy to follow. One detail is that the shirt is the male (or modern) equivalent of a blouse. In English a chemise is worn under the corset, however your explanation instantly made your meaning clear.
The bigger problem is that now I want to drop all my current projects and start on a lacy, flowery, Belle Epoque confection.

    1. Hello Carol,
Oh, thank you very much for the information !
Sorry for making you changing your mind, but it’s always the good moment for making a Belle Epoque dress 😉
