Bonjour à tout le monde ! Enfin ! Hi everyone ! At last ! The video tutoriel for a 18th century look made with “nowadays make-up products”. It might be useful for 18th century events, as the “Fêtes Galantes” in the hall of mirors in the Château de Versailles or the “Journée Grand Siècle” in the Château de Vaux-le Vicomte (two very different atmospheres, so you should add a good sunscreen for Vaux !). It’s in french but you can read last year’s article about make-up if the images are not enough for you, it’s >> HERE <<. If someone is willing to make a translation french to english, do not hesitate to contact me.

Just few more informations / corrections : you can add some red or dark pink blush on the tip of the mose. And I look ligther on the video than I really was (I was in front of a window, so the other colors are quite canceled by the white of the light). Ah, and once the eyebrows are redrawn I forgot to brush them to blur their edges :-p ).

This video was shot in the Château d’Ailly in Normandie. Many thanks to this amazing B&B ! An other big thank you to Fenriss for the huge job he made on editing this video, and to Soraya and Sihame who waited that I finished my tutoriel !

Next video : a late 18th century hairstyle ! (but there will be other articles before that, all about the late part of the 17th century until the end of the 18th century, as the “Fêtes Galantes” are coming very fast !).
